_Florabella Project 24 {Creative Photography Challenge}

_There is only one rule:  your photos must be newly taken and/or newly processed. Themes & ideas will be discussed in a post on the Florabella Facebook page every other Monday (starting 1/9/12).  Ask questions or share ideas for the theme by commenting on the post.  Then share your finished product on Facebook and/or the Florabella Flickr Group.  Join us! :)

Themes

Use the themes as inspiration, but make them meaningful to you.   Be as creative as you want.  For example, a "Morning" themed shot could be a tea cup, Starbucks, breakfast, the sunrise, a sleeping or awakening child, anything related to "awakenings", etc. etc.  You could also use these themes (or some of theme) along side a 52 week or 365 day photography project.  And feel free to conquer more than one theme at a time.  The project is totally customizable.

Timeline

There is no timeline, really.  There are 24 themes which will be presented in order every other Monday on Facebook, but the project is flexible.    You can shoot as many photos as you want for each theme.  You can choose themes in any order you like.  Some will choose to complete all themes in one year, others will use one theme for the entire year...    I will be trying to complete the themes in order starting with Theme #1 and then progressing to #2 after two weeks, but please make the project work for you. :)

The Goal

The goal is to challenge yourself...creatively and/or technically (photography and/or post processing). Step out of your comfort zone, but make the project meaningful to you.  You will get out of it what you put into it.  Try something new.... experiment with light, take that self portrait you've always put off, shoot in new locations, find beauty in the simple things, and experiment with processing techniques.  We can all learn and grow from practice and new experiences.  Most of all, though, have fun!  ♥
